West Jefferson, Seagon

West Jefferson ( also known as Jefferson Gardens is a suburban neighbourhood located in south-central Seagon. The neighbourhood has a population of 35 as of 12 February 2013, while as early as February 23, it hit a population of 50. And already in March 31, the population was 72. Jefferson was established in circa 1910 after suburban developments started in central Seagon. The neighbourhood has a mixed culture, with the population being 85% black, 10% European and 5% other. Jefferson is also a heavily gang-controlled neighbourhood. The neighbourhood itself is a part of the larger Jefferson neighbourhood, situated to East Jefferson in the east. Jefferson is based on the real life neighbourhood of Compton, Los Angeles.



- HISTORY -
West Jefferson was established in 1910, after suburban developments started in the area, and by 1912, the area was already complete constructed. From 1915 all until 1960 it was the most devastated and corrupt neighbourhood in the city, with more than 60% unemployment, In 1962, All the former homes in the neighbourhood was destroyed and replaced with ranch-style homes.
- POPULATION -
West Jefferson is the 2nd most populated neighbourhood behind Aynewood as of its 89, however its the most densely populated neighbourhood by size.

- LAW ENFORCEMENT -
Jefferson is served by the Seagon City Police Department, having main police department in West Jefferson Commercial. It is part of the larger Seagon County Police Department. The Jefferson City Police Headquarters is also the largest in South Central.

- SORROUNDINGS -
West Jefferson is mostly a flat suburb, that is bordered to Dwayneson in the west across the flood control, to the north its bordered by Aynewood, in the east to East Jefferson and to the south its bordered to the ocean, the area around the south is a popular hotel destination. In West Jefferson, There is a apartment project also known as the Jefferson Projects built in 1981 by the authorities.

- CRIME -
West Jefferson is controlled by together 2 gangs, Seagon Hustlers, and the Bloods. The Whole Southern West Jefferson is controlled by the South Beach Bloods, while the Northern neighbourhood is partly owned by the Seagon Hustlers, that has lost alot of base the last months. West Jefferson has the highest murder rate anywhere in the city, and is also the most unsafest neighbourhood to live in, however. Its Brother in the east, has slightly less crimes, and is a less-poverty stroken neighbourhood. The last months, there has been a rival gang war on the streets between the Bloods and the remaining Seagon Hustlers. The 20th Blocc Crips lost influence in the neighbourhood, and has moved onto East Jefferson.


- SHOPS AND BUSSINESS -
Jefferson hosts many different shops and bussinesses. In West Jefferson you can find the Jefferson Casino and a Taco Bell shop as well as a few grocery stores. In the West there is a Fish Exchange and a hospital. Jefferson also hosts the seat of the Seagon Court and the Jefferson Gym.

- HOSPITAL -
Jefferson is served by the Jefferson Insurance & Healthcare Center, which is the only hospital operating in the South Central.

- CONSTRUCTION -
South-West Jefferson also known as Jefferson Commercial is dubbed the downtown of the south central because of its non-residental vacants and medium-wealth shopping buildings.

- POOR -
As of February 26 2013, Jefferson was one of the most deprived districts in South Central, having a state income per person below 300$, however the criminals has gained themselfes Rich after selling crack in the neighbourhood, earning circa 1,500$ an hour. Jefferson also has a very dry climate, and a rotten water supply system. The high income is made unstable by the many crackhouses operating in the area.

-AREA-
West Jefferson is one of the largest neighbourhoods in seagon with 1,45 square kilometer land areal, it is divided into East and West Jefferson.
